  1.                           Name and Address
  2.                           ================
  3.   The name and address facility enables you to put name and address blocks
  4.   in correspondence with a touch of a key, keeps telephone numbers
  5.   available as you work, lets you create mailing labels or do a mail
  6.   merge.

  8. To enter a name and address to the file, go to the MAIN MENU and choose
  9. option 4.
  10.  
  11.                        Name and Address Base Menu
  12.                        ==========================
  13.  1. Main N&A Base    : Type "1" for the main name and address base.  This
  14.                        is the base saved on the diskette.
  15.  
  16.  2. Other N&A Base   : Type "2" to call up a different base other than the
  17.                        main base.  There must have been another previously
  18.                        created base in order for this to work.
  19.  
  20.  3. Create           : Type "3" to create a new name and address base.
  21.  
  22.  4. Delete           : Type "4" to delete a previously created name and
  23.                        address base.
  24.  
  25.  0. Exit to DOS      : Type "0" to return to the DOS prompt.

  28.                        Entering a record
  29.                        =================
  30.   To enter a record, press F1 to switch to the entry mode.  Once in entry,
  31.   mode just fill out the information in the data base.

  33.                        Searching for a Record
  34.                        ======================
  35.   Press F2 to locate a name and address record.  Up to 25 characters can
  36.   be used to locate a record.

  38.                        Adding a Blank Record
  39.                        =====================
  40.   When you're in Sheet Mode, pressing F3 causes a blank line to be added
  41.   above the line in which the cursor is positioned.

  43.                        Deleting a Record
  44.                        =================
  45.   Press F4 to delete an entire line in which the cursor is positioned.  A
  46.   pop-up window will appear to allow you to confirm the deletion.

  48.                        Sorting Alphabetically
  49.                        =====================
  50.   Press F5 to sort the name and address file alphabetically, based on the
  51.   field in which the cursor is positioned.

  53.                        Sorting by Zip Code
  54.                        ==================
  55.   Press F6 to sort the entire name and address file by zip code.

  57.                        Printing
  58.                        ========
  59.   Press F7 to bring up the Print Window.

  61.   N&A List    :  Prints the entire name and address file.
  62.   Phone List  :  Prints name and telephone numbers only.
  63.   Labels      :  Prints Standard six line mailing labels.
  64.   Set Margin  :  Lets user adjust left margin.
  65.   Test Label  :  Prints one label to test for alignment.
  66.   Form Length :  Lets user specify number of lines on form or label.

  70.   Press F8 to toggle cursor movement from character by character to field
  71.   by field.

  73.                      Press F10 for the Quit Window.

  76.   Yes, Save       :  Save the name and address file to disk.
  77.   No, Discard     :  Do not save the name and address file to disk.
  78.   Save & Continue :  Save the name and address file and continue to use
  79.                      the name and address file.
  80.   Marked Sv/Appnd :  Allows you to save marked name and address records
  81.                      either in another name and address base or in a new
  82.                      base.
  83.   Rename Base     :  Allows you to rename a name and address base.
  84.   Include Base    :  Allows you to include a previously created name and
  85.                      address base with the base in memory.
  86.   Encode Base     :  Allows you to encode name and address files.  This
  87.                      option will ask for a code word to protect the file.
  88.   Decode Base     :  Allows you to decode a previously encoded base.  This
  89.                      feature will not work unless you have the code word
  90.                      associated with that base.
